False Idols Map Locations Guide
The False Idols quest requires collecting seven deer antler statues scattered across Jacob Seed's region (Whitetail Mountains). Each is located inside a specific prepper stash.
Quick-Find Locations:
- Ruby's Bison Ranch (southwest of F.A.N.G. Center): Inside the bunker behind the barn after solving the feed trough puzzle.
- Redtail Cabin (west of Jacob's Ranch): Found in the unlocked basement after placing the four generator fuses.
- Rye & Sons Aviation (north of Peaches Taxidermy): On a shelf in the hangar control room after restoring power.
- Tampico Trailer (east of Cedar Lake): Inside the sunken trailer after lowering the lake water level via the pump station.
- Deep North (southeast of Ozhigwan Falls): Behind the waterfall cave door opened by shooting the padlock.
- Sling Shot (southwest of Lamb of God Church): Inside the garage bunker accessed by breaking boards and sliding down the rope.
- North Point (northwest of Whitetail Ski Resort): On a crate in the basement shelter revealed after solving the generator/fire puzzle.
Efficiency Tips:
- All stashes appear as cabinet icons on the map after approaching their general area.
- Complete prerequisite stash puzzles first – idols always spawn in the final reward room.
- Use a helicopter (e.g., from Rye & Sons) to bypass mountain terrain quickly.
- Prioritize stashes near fast travel points to minimize traversal time.
