Exotic Acquisition in Prophecy Dungeon
While there isn't a dedicated exotic unique to Prophecy, players can still obtain exotic items through the following means within the dungeon:
- Random Exotic Engrams: Encounters, particularly the final boss chest, and hidden chests within the Prophecy dungeon have a chance to drop random Exotic engrams. These engrams decrypt into an Exotic item (weapon or armor) from the general world loot pool. For armor, this typically prioritizes items not yet acquired or offers a random roll of an already owned piece.
There is no specific quest originating from or solely progressed within the Prophecy dungeon that culminates in an exclusive exotic reward.
Primary Loot from Prophecy
The primary rewards from completing encounters in the Prophecy dungeon are focused on legendary gear. This includes:
- Legendary Weapons: A pool of re-issued weapons with themes reminiscent of the Trials of the Nine.
- Legendary Armor: The CODA armor sets. A "flawless" completion (completing the dungeon without any fireteam member dying) rewards the Moonfang-X7 variant of this armor set, which is also legendary.
Therefore, players farming Prophecy should primarily expect legendary weapons and armor, with any exotic drops being random additions from the general loot pool rather than a specific dungeon-exclusive item.
